Attorney Michael A. Campbell Secures Dismissals For Client Filming Police
Attorney Michael A. Campbell secured four dismissals for his client who was arrested and charged with four counts of Resisting Law Enforcement. The charges were filed against Attorney Campbell’s client after he used his cell phone to film a male Gary Police Officer making a forceful arrest of a woman.

When asked by the Northwest Indiana Times for a comment on the dismissal, Attorney Campbell had the following to say:
“We maintained all along that the video speaks for itself, and that my client did nothing wrong. All he did was exercise his First Amendment right to film the police, and he spoke up when he saw what he believed to be an abuse of power by the now former Gary police officer.”
